Nextiva Fax Service

Nextiva Fax service called VFax is an excellent email/virtual fax service meant for for small businesses, home businesses, SOHOs without the hassle of any additional hardware or additional phone lines.

The Vfax service is a virtual fax service, as the name suggests, which means using it you can send and receive faxes online from a pc. You get a regular fax number for your incoming faxes. You can fax a document that you have on your pc directly from a Microsoft Office application or just send a fax through email. You receive incoming faxes faxes through email. Nextiva fax also has the ability to send and receive faxes using a smart phone. There is no software to download, nothing to install. If you have access to an email, you are all set to send and receive faxes.

In addition to the virtual fax solution, Nextiva Fax will also work with your fax machine, if you have one, though you don’t need to have a fax machine to use Nextiva Fax. Not many email fax services offers this convenience. Plug in your fax machine to the Nextiva adapter and send and receive faxes through the fax machine. But for this capability you will need to purchase the Nextiva fax adapter for $150, which we don’t think many will want to spend. The main idea behind a virtual fax service is the freedom from fax machines. So spending $150 extra to use a fax machine with your virtual fax service doesn’t make sense.
