Renewed for another year after two years of successful phone service. No problems and the High Speed Fios connection guarantees a trouble free communication. Highly recommend Phone Power (and it has great features)

This is not a best plan for guys who stay in US and wanted an unlimited India calling, where as vonage is providing for free.
I used Phone Power for 3 years. Its cheap but you get what you pay for. Service is spotty and don't expect to receive technical support. I had several issues where I called in and it would take days it get your service restored. Phone Power was my home line but my primary line is my cell phone so the service saw very little use and even then there were way too many issues. Like I said it is cheap and their introductory offer was too good to be true, very much so. The thing to watch is when you have has enough and cancel service they have a hook waiting for you. You must return the cheap little phone modem to them within 30 days of canceling service or the charge you $99.90 for the device please their late return fees. My sister and I signed up for Phone Power at the same time and took the 2yrs of service offer for $199.99. She couldn't deal with the service issues and after 6 months had to switch back to Bell, taking her phone number with her. She wrote off the $200 she spent on Phone power service as a lesson learned, Phone Power only allow you to cancel service for a refund within the first 45 days. She contacted Phone Power about switch to Bell and they never asked for the return of the modem. About 2 1/2 years later she get contacted by s Phone Power collector wanting the $99.90 modem fees plus a whole slew of late charges. Beware of them you'll get hooked on their offer and they'll burn you when you cancel. I've know several people who have had them but none that have had a good experience.
Just got the service for myself and my father. He is long distance, and the long distance service we were using keeps raising their rates, plus our telco's have fees/taxes AND the long dist. service has fees/taxes as well!!! This service is now our ONLY service (they also have taxes, BUT they are the only ones we pay AND THEY ARE LOW!!!). I noticed that in the features on this webpage, caller id with name has an X.... according to phonepower's features they DO have caller id with name, so that needs to be updated here. Don't hesitate to get this service!!! They have a TON of features that come for FREE that another "cheap" VoiP provider charges for!!! READ THE FINE PRINT and do your homework!!!
The one year + one year free is 199 + 40 (taxes and fees) on the first year, and the second year another 40 for taxes and fees are charged again. Is this considered DOUBLE CHARGE of taxes and fees on one sale? Is this legal?
in 4 years I have had 5 different voip services. Phone Power is by far the best for service, clarity, call connection time(seconds), ring back for VMails, it is very good for dialing into accounts with number passwords. we LOVE the service.
I did the retail purchase at Best Buy and got an $80.00 credit. I signed up for 2 years for $14.95 per month and have not had to pay a bill yet and won't for 3 more months. The service is absolutely perfect. I love it. I use the phone quite a bit now and it saves my cell phone minutes. My broadband connection is cable with Suddenlink and I have no problems, it just works. I have my fax machine plugged into the cloned line they give you for free and it works great. I have had Vonage and Lingo and while they all worked well, the best value and service overall is Phone Power. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants great and affordable voip service.
I have had nothing but a positive experience. I tried them out for one month and then signed up for the buy one year get one free promotion. The cost comes out to $8.33 a month. Phonepower has all kinds of features (I use click to call all the time), and has been very reliable in the 6 months I have has it. They even give us 60 mins of international calling a month.
This is the best company, Service has been great for two years now, haven't had any down time. Pick PhonePower and you will not be sorry!!
I just switched my tech company to phone power's monthly unlimited plan - small business friendly and they're in best buy now.

Annual cost must be shown plus taxes and fees to know amount will be charged to credit card. If long distance call is not dialed, will it not be any additional charge for the all 2 years?.Admin: Nelson, yearly cost is $199 plus tax, but if you sign up now you will get 1 extra year FREE.
